What are the opening
dates for the camp site for the season 2004?
The camping site will open on 26 March 2004 and will close on 17 October
2004.
Is it possible to reserve
a site?
Yes, send a written request (form,
e-mail, fax
or letter). Click here for more information on the reservation
terms.
How large (in square
metres) are the various sites?
The sites which lie directly on the lake (numbers 1 to 36) vary from 75
to 85 square metres; the other locations have a surface area of about 65
to 75 square metres.
Are the rates «all-in»?
Yes, the rates presented are in Swiss francs (SFR) and apply for a stay
per night, including the site, a car with caravan or a car with a tent or
a camping vehicle, including the number of persons for the rate, tourist
tax, power supply (220 V/10 A), hot water in the sanitary facilities and
VAT.
Are there special discounts
for children?
No, but for infants up to and including 2 years the stay is free.
What discounts do you
give?
Irrespective of whether it is the peak or off-peak season we give a discount
of 5% on the total amount of the invoice from the tenth consecutive overnight
stay (with the exception of the sites at the lake).
During the off season we give a discount of 10% on the total amount of the
invoice from the 21st consecutive overnight stay.

Do I have any advantages
as a member of TCS/ADAC/DCC/ANWB/ACSI?
No, we can unfortunately not give any discounts on this basis. Please show
your membership card when you arrive, however, as it makes checking-in easier
for us.
Is it possible to pay
the bill in euros or to exchange euros for Swiss francs?
Yes, but remember that we only accept bank notes (no coins) and that your
change will be in Swiss francs.
Which credit cards
and payment cards may I use?
EC-Direct, Postcard, EDC-Maestro, Eurocard-Mastercard and Visa.
How long can I stay
on my site on the day of departure?
In theory until 11.30. During the off season there is an opportunity during
application to register a different departure time with reception.
How late is the camping
site open to vehicles in the evenings?
During the off season until 22.00.
During the peak season until 23.00.
What is the route to

May I bring a dog?
No.
Is it possible to rent
a caravan or bungalow on the camping site?
Not currently.
Is there a service
station for camping vehicles on the camping site?
Yes, see the layout.
Can you rent a coolbox
on the site during the summer?
Of course; we rent handy coolboxes for 3.- francs per day.
Is there a restaurant
on the site?
Yes, our restaurant offers you an international cuisine and has a nice terrace
with a pergola.
There is even a take-away service.

Can you get every-day
articles at the Lido Mappo?
Yes, the shop in the camping site has a range of every-day products which
is to be compared with a small supermarket.

Are there hot showers
and washing facilities?
Yes, most of the sanitary facilities have infrared jet heaters. In building
number 4 there are areas which are completely closed off during the heating
period and which are fitted with ventilation and heating equipment.
Is the hot water for
showers, washing, etc., free?
Yes, this is also included in our rates.
Is the camping site
accessible for the handicapped?
Yes, all major entrances are suitable for wheelchair users.Sanitary facility
building number 3 has a washing and WC area which is accessible by wheelchair.
